EPOC Connect is a powerful file conversion tool. It is not shipped with any EPOC SDK, however it is re-badged by licensees, and can be obtained from their respective Web sites (e.g. versions of PsiWin can be found on the Psion Web site).
EPOC Connect can be used to convert many different file types between the native format used by Windows and that used by EPOC. In addition to the headline conversion capabilities, such as the ability to convert between EPOC and Window’s spreadsheet applications, it can also convert sound files between the EPOC format and the Windows .wav file format.
It is recommended that developers use EPOC Connect for sound file conversion.
